Day 192

Thursday, March 24, 2011. . .
THE WRITING. . .Up at 2 a.m., full of story that will not quit these days. I actually went to the desk and jotted notes, told myself that was enough and that I did not have to stay up and write them into the story.
Email from editor: they are working on the new cover!  \O/  Whoa!  As usual, they ask for my ideas.
Am I jazzed or what? And I don’t see this until after 9 p.m. Guess what I go to sleep dreaming about? What my characters look like, what the setting is, what details we can enhance. It’s great.
THE DETAILS. . .Obviously even I can see from the above note that I should back off even though I do not want to. So the lunch invitation from weeks ago turned out to be timely for my sanity’s sake. And it turned out to be an extra special event.
My Illinois Sis-in-Law, in town visiting her daughter and daughter-in-law, prepared lunch for me, my California Sis-in-Law, Cousin-in-Law, and Niece-in-Law. (Too many “in-laws” to read?) Because my birthday and California Sis-in-Law’s birthday are around the corner, she treated us to a French-themed afternoon – berets, cheese, salad, quiches, French bread, French words posted everywhere, French music, cake (see photo), and gifts.  =)  Merci beaucoup, PJ!
Home Group made it a full day of connecting with real-life people.
Until the email noted above. =)
