            THE WRITING and THE DETAILS. . .A blend today. My Guy and I went down to the annual Writer’s Symposium at Point Loma Nazarene University to for a conversation/interview with Rob Bell. He’s a pastor out of Michigan and author (his best known book is Velvet Elvis).

I adore listening to authors talk about their work and how they work. The “hows,” spoken in an auditorium packed with other writers, always affirm that my lifestyle – steeped in imagination and words and solitariness – is not all that odd.

Bell’s is a fresh voice that challenges us to see the sacred in ordinary moments, to see the holy in others, and to live accordingly.
