THE DETAILS. . .The play: Let Me Down Easy. We went downtown to a matinee performance. I don’t know where to begin to describe this original work. Written and performed by Anna Deveare Smith (actress). . .based on her interviews with a wide range of people. . .she presented each character answering her questions. . .the result was an energetic slice of American life. And a whole lot more. =)
